Be in our Pioneer Republican "Save the Date" ad

The next step for the reunion includes placing a general announcement in the Pioneer Republican. The purpose for this ad is to notify classmates (or family of classmates) about the date/venue for our 20th reunion and solicit updated addresses. Please email in your current address so we can send you info!

We're almost ready to publish this ad. Just awaiting one final, but very important, detail - a brave classmate who has a high-resolution class photo of herself/himself to use in the ad. This could be from any year. We just need one!! But I'd take three at this point.

Here is the ad ready for placement, awaiting your friendly classmate photo.

Will you be in it? Please help us through this last step!!

Live Band at the Reunion? Let's do a duet!

Music Lovers,

Were you a band geek then? Or are you one now? Email me what you play and let's set something up for the reunion. The winery is a live music venue so let's make that live music from the Class of 1988.

What do you play?
What do you sing?
Are you a stand-up poet?
Do you want to auction off items? (I know there's ONE auctioneer out there!) We could add music to it and make it a new genre.

Don't worry about your skill level or fear of performing in public. We can take care of that.

Email me if you have any interest and we'll collectively figure out next steps.

You Can Keep Manhattan

I came across this article in the East Iowa Herald about a book written by a man who grew up in rural Marengo. The book is called Lone Gone, by Richard Willis. The farm Richard grew up on is now owned by Tascha's parents, Larry & Linda Yoder.
